So I have had the microphone for about a week. I have done some tests and have concluded that it is much better than the built in microphone on your iPhone or iPad. It provides a better dynamic range and less background noise. Great purchase!

With the need to conduct not only all my business meetings remotely, but even instrumental music lessons, I wanted an upgrade to the built-in mic on my webcam. After reading a host of reviews of this FiFine vs higher-priced competitors, I decided not to go the over-$100 route, since I’m not doing any serious audio recording now. After using it daily for almost 3 weeks, I couldn’t be happier with the FiFine. The audio quality is vastly better than expected for the price range. The sensitivity dial on the front of the mic makes it easy to quickly adjust input levels – this has proved very handy since I alternate among 3 different conferencing systems, and switch between talking and playing instruments (sax & flute).

I have owned a blue yeti and compared to this fifne microphone it just does not add up, The fifine sounds way better, and is cheaper than the blue, yet has much better sound quality

First off, I’m a VoiceOver artist. I have lots of very expensive microphones, but when I travel, I don’t take them on the road with me due to the interface and other equipment they normally need. I needed something lightweight, and reasonably priced so if it comes up ‘missing’ from my luggage, I won’t be out a thousand dollars… this mic was recommended by a fellow VO artist, and I was a bit skeptical, but for the price, I figured, ‘Why not?’ … wow! i was very surprised by what I received in a couple of days – a very robust feeling microphone that plugged and played perfectly with my MacBook Pro using Reaper recording software. And the sound? Well, actually, I like it better than my Yeti mic that I paid three times more for (and suddenly quit working with my MBP!). I’ve recorded with this mic in hotel rooms, clothes closets and my studio booth and I’m very impressed. And while I can tell a difference in the sound tone of my voice vs. my much, much more expensive microphones, it is certainly good enough for 90% of what I do and I have never had a complaint from even the pickiest client due to the quality of the recording. Two thumbs up for this mic!

I haven’t been a fan of USB based sound devices in the past, but this microphone works really well.

This is a really nice microphone. Well done, beautiful and simple. I’m using it for streaming on Twitch and I’m loving it. This is a really great product and I totally recommend it!

I really like the audio quality on the microphone! It cancels out a lot of the background noise kind of similar to a higher-priced microphone. The build quality of the mic is also sturdy; however, the mic stand could be better because I don’t like how it is right now. But overall, I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a budget microphone for recording music or do voice-overs.
